Our Story

I remember when i first made a Tik Tok account, and i came across the Native Tik Tok community. I noticed a few groups of indigenous brothers looking to make a difference within the indigenous community, and i thought to myself, “wow, I really want to be a part of something like this.” I started doing some research, reaching out to some indigenous brothers, and eventually i was able to form a support group for indigenous brothers. A place for brothers to speak on their traumas, struggles, achievements, and so much more. The bonds made, and the feeling of helping each other out was great, but i wanted to do more. I reached out to some of the brothers that i felt had that same passion, that same fire in them to help make a difference, and together we formed what would end up being, the 4 Directions Brotherhood. Being a new brotherhood that’s experience was based off our own research had its challenges, but we really got moving quickly. We did anything from helping indigenous sisters escape abusive relationships with dangerous living environments, toy drives for our indigenous youth, clothing drives for our indigenous people needing warm clothes for the winter months, fundraising for indigenous individuals, and more. We had so much going on, that we decided to open our organization to indigenous sisters, two-spirits, and indigenous allies. I am proud of how far we have come, and i’m thankful for all our members that chose to be on this journey with us. We come in different shades of skin color, backgrounds, stories, tribes & people with the same goal. Helping our indigenous communities however we can with no need for recognition. Just for the love of all indigenous people.

From all four directions.
