DAVID JUMPING BEAR BARRETT
Founder - 4 Directions Organization (Formerly known as 4 Directions Brotherhood)
Tribe/People - Osage Nation (Wahzhazhe) & Southern Indigenous Decent
I lost my Gram July 15th, 2020 to cancer. She was the biggest positive influence in my life, and i wanted to do something to honor her. She always worked to help indigenous people in her community, and even fostered two siletz boys that needed homes, and raised them. I’m proud to say that i have continued in her path to make a difference. To look back on where we began, and where we are right now is a great feeling, and i am thankful for all my 4DO Family.

l am one of the original sisters to help with the organization. My personal beliefs coincide with the beliefs of the organization. To help our indigenous communities and individuals to give them a hand up and assist when they are in need.

I’m a student advocate for 30,000 students, and one part of the "Bid of Peace community Garden." I’m one of the first natives to bring indigenous classes to the school system in over 150 years. I enjoy helping native relatives, and elders while representing the 4DO.

TRENT OROZON

Tribe/People - Mi’kmaq
I joined up around two years ago. The organization came to me during a rough time, and really helped me out. I started off as our web designer, and was eventually asked if i would like to be a part of the Council Team. I am proud to be 4DO.

I’ve always wanted to help our people, and had no idea how to do it. Now i have my 4DO family across turtle island that can be called on to help those in need within a few hours instead of weeks.

TIM LAWSON
Treasurer - 4 Directions Organization
Tribe/People - Indigenous Ally
I found myself in Southeast Arizona in 2013, and in spite of being able to wake up each morning and see Cochise Head in the Chiricahua Mountains, I was shocked at the conspicuous absence of indigenous people on these lands named after them. I started learning what had happened and what continued to happen to the people and wanted to help wherever I was able. Through TikTok, I got to meet Jumping Bear and several others in this community, and i’m honored to have been invited to be a part of the 4DO.
-
MICHAEL RAMIREZ
Membership Director - 4 Directions Organization
Tribe/people - Oneida, Powhatan
I joined the 4 Directions Organization because I want to make a difference for our Native peoples. I have seen this organization do amazing things and help people who have lost everything to get back on their feet. I am proud to call this group Family.

JIM DE LA CRUZ
Membership Director - 4 Directions Organization
Tribe/people - Mescalero Apache/Central American native descent
I joined the 4 Directions Organization because what started out as a space for us to come together and just talk about life and the struggles our communities face evolved into actions and helping people who are in need. I am honored to be part of something that helps the indigenous communities.
